Match...WHAT!?

  1. Its just another pointless scam to get peoples money. It's not worth two dollars. instead of matchmakers everyone should give two dollars per person. so we have around six hundred and fifty people in our school times two is $1,300 that could be given to a worthy cause like feeding Winnipeg's homeless.

  5. I completely agree with the first anonymous: raising money shouldn't be so we get a gym blast; it should actually go towards a worthwhile cause. Lets fight poverty, solve world hunger, defeat AIDS, or even just buy fair trade! (the Social Justice committee gets it!)
We need to look at the big picture. We have the ability to do some good: so why don't we?

  7. Some of you people are so miserable. Enjoy the activities that high school provides us. To me memories (gym blast) are more important than saving up for things like chess club. Just sayin'.

    Are they worth it?
Sure if the purpose of the thing is understood. The purpose is not to give you a list of women whom you should marry. The purpose is to entertain you for a while and make you think about girls whom may be more similar to you than you would otherwise think. Two dollars is a fair price to play for an hour or two of merriment and laughter. So yes I think the matchmakers are a good thing and I hope to have them around in the future.

I think if the money is going to a decent cause, WHY NOT GET ONE?
it's just a fun way to see who you could possibly compatible with, gets people talking about in the school .
